Sonya Deville isn’t wasting any time after parting ways with WWE. With her contract set to officially expire in a few weeks, she’s already locked in plans for her next chapter.

Ringside News can Deville has agreed to terms with Tom Unger’s Big Event Promotions and will be making appearances at pop culture and pro wrestling conventions once she officially becomes a free agent. Fans looking to meet the former Tough Enough competitor will soon have plenty of opportunities.

Deville was the only talent informed that her contract would not be renewed, but her departure comes amid a wave of WWE releases. Names like Akam & Rezar of AOP, Paul Ellering, Blair Davenport, Cedric Alexander, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, Isla Dawn, Elektra Lopez, and Giovanni Vinci were also let go in the latest round of roster cuts.

After signing with WWE in 2015, Deville built a strong presence in the company, most recently aligning with Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark in the Pure Fusion Collective. While her time in WWE may be coming to an end, she’s clearly not stepping away from the spotlight anytime soon.
