WWE’s Elimination Chamber event is coming to Toronto on March 1, and they are still getting the card together. During the February 14 episode of SmackDown at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., the company had a great Valentine’s Day gift for one star.
The 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber match currently includes John Cena, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul. This week’s SmackDown included a massive triple threat match to figure out another competitor in that marquee match.
The Men’s Elimination Chamber saw a triple threat qualifying match on SmackDown this week. In that contest, “The Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu took on “The Monster Of All Monsters” Braun Strowman and Damian Priest in a match that could have probably been on a premium live event on its own.
This match was the main event of the night, and it was heavily hyped throughout the night. Before these three collided, they took a moment to size each other up as fans chanted for Jacob Fatu. Despite that fan backing, Braun Strowman ran roughshod over his opponents as they went to commercial break.
The steel steps got involved when they came back, as Jacob Fatu laid out his opponents at ringside. This was a no-DQ match, so anything was on the table. This was a hard-hitting match, and they had nearly 20 minutes to get to the finish, so everyone had room to get their stuff in.
At one point, Jacob Fatu reversed Damian Priest’s rope walk into a Samoan Drop, then he hit a dive on Strowman and climbed up to nail a senton bomb dive onto Priest for a near fall. He was obviously working hard in this match, and fans were pulling for him in a big way.
Braun Strowman also turned a superplex from Jacob Fatu into a powerbomb, with Damian Priest taking the greatest amount of damage. That move brought a censored “holy sh*t” chant from the Washington, DC crowd. They continued with Damian hitting a flatliner on Fatu on the announce table outside, but then Braun speared Priest before nailing a chokeslam on Fatu, but the announce table didn’t budge.
This match continued with Jacob Fatu nailing hip attack after hip attack on Braun Strowman as he was laid out in the corner. Then he went outside to get a steel chair. In the end, he put Braun’s head in the chair, but Strowman was able to stop that hip attack and use the chair against Fatu.
The finish of this match came after Solo Sikoa nailed a Samoan Spike on Braun when he was about to nail Jacob Fatu. Then Fatu nailed a moonsault from the top rope, but Cody Rhodes came out to attack Solo Sikoa. Tama Tonga jumped Rhodes from behind as the match continued in the ring.
Damian Priest shoved Jacob Fatu into Solo Sikoa and then Cody hit Solo with a crossroads. Meanwhile, Damian Priest and Braun Strowman fought in the ring, where Braun ate a South of Heaven, which gave Damian Priest the big win. Now, Damian Priest will join the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber match.
We will have to see how the 2025 Elimination Chamber turns out. They are certainly doing a lot to book this big match. Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor is the final qualifying match during the February 17 episode of WWE RAW.
