The Bloodline saga has been one of the major storylines in WWE since 2020 and now Solo Sikoa has claimed that the saga is still only in the third inning.
While speaking with Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone, Solo Sikoa talked about keeping the Bloodline storyline fresh and exciting. He said the key is to keep fans guessing, noting that many thought the story was over after his match with Roman Reigns but in reality, it was only the beginning.
Solo brought up a comment Paul Heyman made years ago, comparing the storyline to being in the third inning of a baseball game. He agreed with that idea, saying it still feels like the third inning to him, with plenty more ahead for both his side and Roman’s. Even though Heyman isn’t currently with him or on the same team, Solo said the story is far from over and they’re just getting started.
“I think it’s just keep the fans guessing. Everybody thought the Bloodline story was done. Me and Roman fought [and they thought it was done], but we were just getting started. I’m not even done yet, I’m not close to being done.
I don’t know if anyone remembers Paul Heyman saying it’s [still] the third inning. It’s the third inning. I mean, to me it is. There’s still plenty more to come. I still think that means for both sides too, with [Heyman] and Roman and what they got going on, and us too. For Paul to say that, he’s not even here and we’re not on the same team, but it’s the third inning. We’re just getting started.”
Solo Sikoa also blamed Paul Heyman for the Bloodline’s collapse in the first place. Regardless, it’s clear Sikoa is confident the Bloodline storyline won’t be ending anytime soon, so fans are excited to see how WWE will continue to book the angle as we approach Clash in Paris.
Do you agree with Solo Sikoa that the Bloodline is still in the “third inning”? What other twists and turns do you expect? Sound off in the comments.
