Sol Ruca Admits She’s Never Been in a Real Fight

Sol Ruca might be lighting up WWE NXT with her athleticism and ring presence — but when it comes to real-life fights? She’s never been in one.

During a new interview on Going Ringside, Ruca revealed something that sets her apart from many in the wrestling business. While discussing her growth and mindset, she dropped a line that stopped the host cold.

“Um, I’ve never—never been in a fight. I’m very, like, chill, relaxed. I’m not someone who’s into all of the drama and stuff.”

Ruca explained that her natural temperament is laid-back and calm. But while WWE isn’t a real combat sport, she credits the environment — especially her partnership with Zarya — for helping her tap into a more aggressive persona in the ring.

“Being here, that’s the nature of the beast. And especially having Zarya, who has a little bit of a quicker fuse… it has made me be more aggressive and be more into that and like bringing the pressure, bringing the heat in my matches. And I’ve definitely evolved thanks to her.”

Sol’s path to WWE is different — no history of fights, no early obsession with the business. But she’s finding her edge in her own way, and fans are watching her evolve with each performance.
