Sallie Grace’s WWE dreams came to a screeching halt after suffering a concussion—and now she’s officially bowed out of her Performance Center tryout.

On January 16, 2026, Grace uploaded a video on Instagram revealing she’s quit the tryout, citing brain trauma and safety concerns after being injured during bump drills. The influencer and content creator had previously described being hit in the head during an improv session, which led to memory loss, confusion, and a confirmed concussion. In her post, Grace detailed how she reached her breaking point during another intense training session.

“I had to stop running bump sessions because I knew something wasn’t right with my brain. Constantly falling on your back, and they kept telling me to do it harder and harder.”

Grace said she made the difficult decision to speak up in front of everyone—approaching a coach directly to explain why she couldn’t continue. Ultimately, she chose her long-term health over the opportunity to compete.

“I went up to the coach. It took a lot of nerve. I went in front of everyone, shook his hand, and I said, ‘With all due respect, I’ve got a lot of stuff going on, and I can’t ruin my brain. I know something isn’t right.’ So I had to take the L on that one and step out to protect my noggin.”

But she didn’t stop there. Grace also claimed multiple participants had suffered concussions during the tryout—painting a disturbing picture of the training environment.

“It was crazy—everyone was getting concussed left and right, and they were saying there was going to be more happening. I’m obviously facing repercussions right now.”

Grace had previously shared symptoms like disorientation, forgetting conversations, and pressing the wrong elevator buttons at her hotel—signs that something was seriously wrong.

Sallie Grace’s WWE tryout ended not with a contract, but a concussion—and the courage to walk away. Her decision raises major questions about how tryouts are run and whether enough is being done to protect new talent on day one.

Did Sallie Grace make the right call? Should WWE change how it handles tryout safety? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
