Shotzi Blackheart isn’t closing the door on WWE—she’s just not interested in sitting backstage collecting dust.

During an interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, the former WWE star opened up about life after her release, her future goals, and whether she’d ever consider returning to the company that let her go.

Toward the end of the interview, Helwani asked the question fans have been wondering: would Shotzi ever go back to WWE? Her answer was honest, direct, and very on-brand.

“I mean, I would love, love to be back at WWE. I loved working there. I didn’t love not working there—you know what I’m saying? Like, it was only when I wasn’t being used that I was unhappy. But anytime I was being used—good time. Loved the locker room, loved like everyone I was working for. So yeah, that’s—that’s just it. I just don’t want to go back and not work.”

Shotzi made it clear her time in WWE had plenty of positives, but the frustration came when she wasn’t being featured. That seems to be her dealbreaker—she’s not interested in returning unless there’s a real plan for her.

The comments come as Shotzi continues to thrive on the indie scene, and following her earlier remarks in the same interview where she spoke about possibly joining AEW. Though she said she’d pick AEW over TNA if given the choice, Shotzi emphasized that she wants to earn her next opportunity rather than relying on past WWE clout.

With doors potentially open across the wrestling world, Shotzi’s next move remains unclear—but one thing is obvious: she’s not coming back just to sit on the bench.
