Shotzi Blackheart isn’t just building her post-WWE career — she’s building a family-run operation. The former WWE star opened up during her Busted Open Radio interview about life after leaving the company, and one of the biggest surprises? Her husband has stepped up in a major way, becoming her business partner as she takes on the indie scene.
Shotzi admitted the last month has been a total whirlwind, with her schedule filling up fast after her WWE departure. But through the chaos, her husband has been by her side, keeping things running.
“My husband’s kind of been like my business partner lately, especially like this past month because I just had to do so much in such short amount of time ’cause I only had like two weeks to get my life together after, you know, getting the call.”
She explained how he’s taken on a huge role, traveling with her to shows, running the merch tables, and helping with logistics.
“And he’s been on the road with me for a lot of my shows and like, you know, helping me, like with my merch stores and everything. So yeah, we’ve become like little business partners and it’s, yeah, it’s been very helpful.”
While the wrestling grind hasn’t slowed down, Shotzi made it clear that having her husband by her side has made all the difference. Their partnership behind the scenes is allowing her to stay focused on the ring — and enjoy the freedom that comes with being her own boss.
It’s been less than two months since Shotzi left WWE, but her calendar is packed for the rest of the year — and now, she’s got her family in her corner every step of the way.
