Fans were eagerly waiting to see what Shotzi Blackheart was going to do after she confirmed her exit from WWE. As it turns out, they didn’t have to wait long since Blackheart made her in-ring return at an indie event.

Blackheart took to Twitter and commented on her first match since leaving WWE, as she competed at HOODSLAM’s FEARLESS event at Oakland. She said it felt special to begin this new part of her career at the place where she started. She faced one of her original trainers in a match that meant a lot to her and showed what fans can expect from her in the future.

“SURPRISE! I had to kick off this next chapter of my career where it all started for me! Wrestled one of my OG trainers last night in an emotional and sentimental match that really epitomized what you all are about to see from me. Watch it on @Triller_TV HOODSLAM FEARLESS”

Many people expected her to compete at MLW’s Summer of the Beasts show on June 26 at NYC’s Melrose Ballroom first, but it turns out she just couldn’t wait and had to wrestle at HOODSLAM, which was her first appearance since 2017.
