Another title match has been added to the lineup for AEW WrestleDream 2024. During the special five-year anniversary episode of AEW Dynamite on October 2, fans were treated to an intense backstage segment that set up yet another championship showdown for the upcoming pay-per-view.

Katsuyori Shibata stepped up to challenge Jack Perry, also known as “The Scapegoat,” for the TNT Championship at AEW WrestleDream 2024. The challenge was issued in a unique way, with Shibata using his phone app to translate his message into English. Perry initially played coy, telling Shibata he would think about it—only to turn around and ambush the Japanese star, delivering a brutal sneak attack. After laying out Shibata, Perry smugly accepted the challenge, setting the stage for what promises to be a hard-hitting contest.

With this match added to the October 12th pay-per-view at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, WA, the card is stacking up to be one of AEW’s most exciting events of the year.
