Following her WWE release, Shayna Baszler worked as a producer for some WWE matches and now she has addressed potentially becoming a full-time agent in the company.

While speaking on the Ariel Helwani Show, Shayna Baszler talked about helping produce matches in NXT and said she would be open to discussing becoming a full-time agent there.

Baszler said she has a good relationship with NXT and could see herself taking on the role one day, but she’s not sure she’s ready to stop wrestling yet.

“We have that kind of open relationship where— is it a possibility one day? Sure. I would like to think so, it’s not beyond the realm of possibility. I’d love to be the Inoki of NXT and bring visceral reality to things, but I’m also not sure I’m ready to be done with the ring. I’ve produced a few times.”

If it were to happen, she would want to talk about pay and think about how it would affect her in-ring career. Baszler mentioned that she’s in her 40s, and while some wrestlers are still at their peak at that age, it’s something she would have to think through carefully.

Shayna Baszler also said it’s unusual that WWE has let her keep producing matches even after being released, and she doesn’t take that opportunity for granted.

“I’d be open to discussing something like that. A conversation would need to be had about, you know, money, and then also, as I said, I’d have to really sit and figure out what in-ring looks like. But I’m very aware of where I am in the world as far as—like, I’m in my 40s. This is not a young person’s… you know what I mean. There are people in their 40s at the height of it. So could I? This would be stuff I have to navigate. I do not take it lightly that they allow me to even. I think anybody could do that, but I think the anomaly was I was released, but they still allowed me to do that.”

Only time will tell whether Shayna Baszler will end up returning to WWE as a full-time producer or whether she’ll join some other promotion, as the world is truly her oyster at the moment.
