Shawn Michaels Names New Interim General Manager During 2/3 NXT After Ava’s Exit

Ava left WWE in sudden fashion. This was a big shock for a lot of people, but the show must go on.

During the February 3 episode of NXT, the brand continued its stories without the same General Manager in place.

Ava’s WWE exit caught a lot of people off guard within the company. So, they needed to figure out the situation during this week’s show.

NXT opened up this week with Shawn Michaels in a backstage office. He had Robert Stone with him, and he gave Stone his flowers for being such a hard worker for the past seven years. Then he made Robert Stone the new interim NXT General Manager.

After Ava’s exit from WWE, she slammed ICE and Donald Trump. She then went on to deactivate her presence on the X platform.

Since Ava is done with NXT, as she’s even selling her ring gear, it looks like she’s leaving WWE in the rearview mirror. Only time will tell what she does next, but the fact that she’s The Rock’s daughter will probably benefit Ava for the rest of her life.
