Joe Hendry may have walked out of TNA Rebellion 2025 still the World Champion, but Trick Williams made sure to leave him with a target on his back — and now things are getting even more interesting.

After Hendry defended his title against Frankie Kazarian and Ethan Page in the main event, the celebration didn’t last long. Hendry slammed Kazarian through a table with an AA, survived a cutter from Ethan Page, and nailed his finisher to secure the three-count. But as he celebrated, Trick Williams ambushed him, knocking him down with a spinning kick and finishing the job with the Trick Shot. Trick then picked up the TNA World Title, stared it down, and tossed it onto Hendry’s chest before leaving the ring.

The story didn’t end there. After the show, Shawn Michaels jumped on Twitter to throw more fuel on the fire.

“Trick Williams crossed the line. NXT is everywhere – RAW, SmackDown and tonight at TNA Rebellion. @JoeHendry you have an open invitation this Tuesday to come to @WWENXT, and settle this issue with Trick. 8/7c @TheCW,” Michaels tweeted.
