Shawn Michaels has been through a lot in his career. His body has gone through a lot of bumps in his lifetime, but now he’s getting around a bit better.

The January 6 episode of NXT will be New Year’s Evil. This annual event is usually stacked, and this year is no exception. Shawn Michaels is also more than ready for the show.

Shawn Michaels posted on X to let fans know that he’s getting around the NXT Arena in a new way, via motorized scooter. He explained that after a double knee replacement surgery, the Heartbreak Kid was gifted a cart from his best friend, whom we can only assume is Triple H.

"A couple of months ago, it was my birthday, but also I got both of my knees replaced. And because of all that, my best friend got me a brand-new late birthday gift, but a gift nonetheless. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that gift backfired quite a bit."

The video included showed Shawn Michaels causing a bit of chaos backstage. He had some fun running into things, and being his general DX self.

Tonight’s New Year’s Evil show is stacked with title matches and plenty of stakes. Jacy Jayne will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Kendal Grey in a singles match. Jayne won’t be alone, with Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid in her corner, while Grey will have Wren Sinclair backing her up.

The NXT Championship is also on the line as Oba Femi faces Leon Slater. Femi comes in as the champion, but Slater gets a huge opportunity to shake things up on one of NXT’s biggest nights.

The night also features Thea Hail defending the NXT Women’s North American Championship against Blake Monroe. Hail will have Jordynne Grace at ringside, which could play a role in a match that’s expected to be a physical encounter.

We will have to see what happens at New Year’s Evil. Shawn Michaels may be getting around on a motorized cart backstage, and having a ton of fun in the process.
