The 2025 Double or Nothing was undoubtedly a memorable show from top to bottom with lots of surprises, but it also appears that there were quite a few names backstage during the event for good measure.
Fightful Select reports that Juice Robinson was backstage at AEW Double or Nothing, but it was noted that he is further from returning from injury than what was initially thought. Thekla was also backstage at the event. She lives in Arizona and was handling some things before her AEW debut.
On top of those names, Veda Scott was present backstage as well, supporting Speedball Mike Bailey. Alex Hammerstone also attended AEW Double or Nothing, but he remains a free agent and isn’t signed to AEW.

The AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view was headlined by Hangman Page facing Will Ospreay in the finals of the Men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament and it saw Page beating Ospreay in a Match of the Year contender and it’s clear everyone who was present backstage had a ton of fun watching the whole show from start to finish.
AEW Double or Nothing 2025 was a big success both during the show and behind the scenes. Therefore, we will have to wait and see whether the company can keep the momentum going as we head towards AEW All In: Texas on July 12th, which will be their biggest show this year.
