Seth Rollins is trying to navigate a tricky balance between protecting the wrestling business and giving fans a look behind the scenes—and Unreal Season 2 is putting that to the test.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Seth opened up about how difficult it is for him to let go of old-school values when it comes to kayfabe. The Netflix series Unreal showcases real-life moments from WWE stars, and that comes with a level of vulnerability Seth’s not entirely comfortable with.

“I have a really difficult relationship with the show in general. I'm younger—I'm under 40 still—but I still have kind of an old-school mentality. So for me to be pushed to the point of having to really break kayfabe, it hurts me a bit.”

Despite his unease, Rollins acknowledged that Unreal is carefully edited to show the story after the fact and doesn’t expose anything live. He made it clear to the show’s producers that certain lines shouldn’t be crossed:

“The nice thing about the Unreal show is that it airs after the fact, right? It's not in real time like a live Monday… we're kind of peeling back the curtain a little bit on the back end of it. And so I feel a little bit better about that.”

“There are some things that I still want to keep private. And I made that very clear with the producers. I'm like, look, there's gonna be moments where I'm gonna tell you to shut it down. And if you don't respect that, then we'll walk.”

Rollins believes that, handled properly, the show can add to the audience’s respect for wrestling:

“If you are a new fan or a new viewer tuning into Netflix, I think there's a deeper respect that you're going to get for our business—and the performers, and the effort and time and intelligence it takes to go through this process of trying to constantly tell stories.”

Becky Lynch, on the other hand, is all in—and wants even more exposure. The Intercontinental Champion teased an expansion of her brand beyond the show. She wasn’t shy about who’s driving the interest either:

“They want more Becky content. They want twenty-four-seven Becky content. And actually, we're in talks today—that's one of the reasons I'm here—because we are thinking about getting our own twenty-four-seven Becky radio on SiriusXM.”

“Jenny Wick wants it. Everybody wants it. The fans want it. Sirius wants it. Lots of discussions to be had.”

Seth didn’t disagree. He joked about his own front-row seat to Becky’s personality, saying:

“I have access twenty-four-seven to Becky Lynch, and it’s quite incredible.”

Unreal Season 2 is set to follow their journey from WrestleMania through SummerSlam, giving fans an inside look at their professional and personal lives—including possible appearances by their daughter.Whether it’s Rollins’ old-school hesitation or Becky’s full-throttle media empire, one thing is clear—this couple knows exactly how to work the spotlight.
