Seth Rollins is no stranger to pushing boundaries with his style, but even he admitted the Big Red Boots were on another level.

During an interview with Complex alongside his wife Becky Lynch, the WWE Superstar looked back at the moment he brought viral fashion straight into the ring. Becky didn’t just approve—she practically dared him to go bolder.

“I always think it’s awesome... The wilder the better. Oh yeah. More, crazier, bigger, badder, bolder.”

The now-famous MSCHF Big Red Boots didn’t just look wild—they were a nightmare to take off. Rollins revealed that even getting out of the ring gear turned into a full-on battle, especially after sweating through a match in them. As for the stomp? That honor went to The Miz.

“It was a real hard time getting those suckers off my feet. Same thing. I had to have some help… they were locked in. Especially if you put them on barefoot. It was like skin to rubber—it was suctioned on there. It was rough.”

“Who did you hit the stomp on with them? Miz. Maybe. Yeah, Miz.”

Wearing the outrageous red boots wasn’t just about style—it altered how he felt in the ring. “It felt like I was in Super Mario World,” Seth admitted. The boots were so locked on, Rollins had to rely on a trusted hand backstage to help get them off.

“I think it was my bus driver Andy. Yeah. Andy’s an all-purpose man… cooks, cleans, drives, babysits, and removes shoes.”

Rollins’ fearless fashion continues to set him apart from the pack—whether it’s in leather, sequins, or cartoon-inspired rubber. And with Becky Lynch by his side cheering him on to go even harder with the drip, don’t expect him to tone it down anytime soon.
