Seth Rollins didn’t hold back when reacting to Brock Lesnar’s surprise Royal Rumble announcement during an appearance on ESPN’s Get Up. While fans were still processing the Beast Incarnate’s laid-back FaceTime declaration on Pat McAfee’s show, Rollins delivered the perfect mix of respect and sarcasm.
When asked about Lesnar’s sudden entry into the 2026 Royal Rumble, Rollins acknowledged the danger the former WWE Champion always brings:
“I mean, look, uh, anytime Lesnar's in the Royal Rumble, you know, he's a force to be reckoned with. He is the beast. His resume speaks for itself. Whether it's a regular match or a Royal Rumble, I've been in the ring with him. It's no fun.”
But it was Rollins’ jab at Lesnar’s work ethic and rural lifestyle that really landed:
“That is the most Brock Lesnar way I've ever seen to announce your entry into the Royal Rumble. Didn’t want to show up for work. Don’t want to leave the farm in Saskatchewan—Saskatoon, I think it is. Just calls in to McAfee and says, ‘I’m in.’ And that’s it. Now he’s going to get a jet, go to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and have a good shot at winning the Rumble.”
Lesnar’s casual approach might be classic Brock, but it still sends shockwaves through the locker room. With one phone call, he reminded everyone that even without showing up, he’s still one of the biggest threats in the match. The Royal Rumble just got real.
