Seth Rollins isn’t letting up on his criticism of Hulk Hogan, even as he acknowledges the WWE Hall of Famer’s impact on his childhood.

During an appearance on WFAN, Rollins was asked about Hogan’s history in Madison Square Garden, where WWE Raw was set to take place. Despite growing up a fan, Rollins made it clear that personal kindness doesn’t erase past actions.

“I was a Hogan fan growing up. I’ve said it a million times, the dude has been nothing but kind to me in my life and our interactions. Doesn’t make him a good person. Obviously, he’s run into some issues as of late. We’ll see if he clears those up. That’s his business though,” Rollins said.

When it came to Hogan being loudly booed on January 6th’s WWE Raw, Rollins wasn’t the least bit surprised.

“I was not surprised. He hasn’t done a lot to harbor goodwill in his name over the past few years. With everything going on with him, he came out, I saw it coming. I don’t know if anybody else did, but I did.”

This isn’t the first time Rollins has publicly taken shots at Hogan. Recently, during a TOPPs trading card signing session, Rollins was caught on video reacting negatively to receiving a Hulk Hogan Hall of Fame card.

“Wait. Oh, god. I saw a Hall Of Fame card and I got excited, then I saw it was Hulk Hogan, and I got a little less excited, you know what I mean?” he joked.

Rollins’ long-standing disdain for Hogan stems from Hogan’s 2015 racist remarks scandal, which led to his temporary banishment from WWE before he was later reinstated. Rollins has previously said that while he recognizes Hogan’s contributions to the industry, he believes “there’s some responsibility he needs to own up to that he hasn’t yet.”

“I am all for people getting what they deserve, and that’s exactly how I feel about Hulk Hogan getting booed,” Rollins previously said about the fan reaction. “If you’re getting booed by the masses, there’s a reason for that. I don’t know if Hulk fully understands the scope of it, but people get what they deserve, so I’m happy to see it.”

While Hogan has remained silent on Rollins’ latest comments, it’s clear that their tension isn’t going away anytime soon.
