Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens may be on the shelf right now, but they’re already plotting a comeback—and it could be a tag team reunion fans didn’t see coming.
Both WWE Superstars are currently out of action. Rollins has been sidelined since Crown Jewel 2025, where he suffered a rotator cuff injury during a coast-to-coast headbutt. Owens has been off television since just before WrestleMania 41 due to a neck injury.
During a conversation on My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox, Seth Rollins got into the topic of his tag team past with Kevin Owens—revealing that Owens has been pushing for them to get back together once they’re medically cleared.
“Kevin wants to do it all the time,” Rollins said, after Becky Lynch joked that he and Owens should team up again.
Becky then chimed in with her own take on Owens’ motivation:
“He also just wants to work with his friends. I would love to be in a group with you two.”
Seth continued, saying Owens is already pitching ideas for when they’re both healthy:
“He’s just like, ‘When I come back and you come back, let’s just be in a tag team and have fun.’ That’s what he wants to do all the time. I’m like, ‘That doesn’t sound too bad.’”
While there’s still no official return date for either Superstar, it’s clear there’s mutual interest between the two in running it back as a tag team—something that could shake up the WWE landscape when the time comes.
The duo previously teamed in 2022 and received praise for their chemistry, often blending comedy with top-tier in-ring storytelling. A future reunion could give fans a fresh, much-needed injection of personality and precision in the tag team division.
