Seth Rollins didn’t hold back when asked to build his personal WWE “nightmare team”—a Mount Rushmore of wrestlers he’d love to see get completely destroyed in the ring. During a guest appearance on Up & Adams with Kay Adams, Rollins gave a brutally honest response.
The segment kicked off with Adams asking Rollins to match three legendary Chicago Bears players against a WWE dream team. Rollins, a die-hard Bears fan, hesitated to go against his home team—so they flipped the script. Instead of a dream team, Rollins created his own nightmare team of WWE talent he’d love to see flattened. Rollins wasted no time dropping his first name: CM Punk.
“Who are the most hated people of all time? CM Punk. He’s going on the list.”
After Adams joked about adding Punk into the match lineup, Rollins doubled down.
“CM Punk would be high on the list. I would love to see Refrigerator Perry just squish him.”
Next up was a surprising deep cut—Rick “The Model” Martel. Rollins explained that even as a kid, he couldn’t stand the arrogant heel.
“When I was a young man, the person I detested the most… was this guy named Rick ‘The Model’ Martel. He walked around and had this little spray thing. He was a faux model. He sprayed something called ‘Arrogance.’ I’m not kidding. He called it Arrogance.”
When Adams pulled up a photo of Martel, Rollins couldn’t help but rip into the character’s absurd look.
“Look at him, right? Get eyes on him. He wore a country club sweater… with no pants. He was wild, bro. I hated him. He was just a great bad guy because he was so despicable. Just had that air about him.”
The third and final pick? Hulk Hogan. “This one may be controversial… but the third one is Hulk Hogan.” Adams pressed for an explanation, and Rollins gave her the short version. “Ah, complicated relationship there with the Hulkster.” And then, the real jab when the Adams asked if they can get it in one sentence.
“Nope, you cannot. You’re going to have to Google that one. It’s not that tricky. Hollywood Hulk Hogan? Not a good guy. Terry Bollea? Also not the best guy.”
Rollins didn’t mince words. Whether it was calling out Punk, roasting Martel, or throwing shade at Hogan, he made it clear: if there’s a dream squash match card, he’s got it fully booked—and he wants front row seats.
Seth Rollins’ “nightmare team” is proof that sometimes real-life heat and wrestling history make the best fantasy booking.
