WWE RAW brought their February 17 episode to the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. There was a lot that they needed to wrap up before the Elimination Chamber. That included figuring out another spot in the men’s match.
During WWE RAW this week, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor battled in a WWE Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match. This was hyped throughout the night before the two men even made their way out to the ring.
Finn Balor and Seth Rollins’ big qualifying match main evented WWE RAW this week. These two fought through a commercial break as the North Carolina fans cheered both of them on. Fans were thrilled just to watch these two battle.
As Seth Rollins took control, fans started to sing his song. He rallied, but Finn Balor was able to avoid taking any finishers. Then Rollins nailed a bucklebomb and he climbed up top to nail a frog splash, but Finn got his knees up and reversed it into a roll-up pin for a two count.
Fans chanted “this is awesome” as they carried on. Finn Balor was able to take control with a slingblade, but Rollins reversed out of one of his moves with a sharpshooter. This was followed by a Pedigree from Rollins and a very close two count. Fans booed after Balor got his shoulder up at the last millisecond. Then they chanted, “ref you suck!” Rollins then gave the referee a DX crotch chop for good measure.
Seth Rollins crashed and burned off the top rope, and then Balor nailed a Coup De Gras for a near fall. After Rollins slipped out of a submission hold, he nailed a Stomp and won the match.
Now Seth Rollins has joined the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber match alongside John Cena, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, and Damian Priest. We will have to see how he does on March 1.
