Seth Rollins got injured during Saturday Night’s Main Event and it appears that led to WWE changing plans for the end of the show.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez talked about how Seth Rollins’ injury completely changed things at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He said the last 40 minutes of the show were in total disarray.

Alvarez noted that there was something planned for the end of the show, and it wasn’t a Seth Rollins cash-in, but whatever they had set up couldn’t happen because of Seth’s injury.

Alvarez explained that a lot of people working the live event were told in the middle of the show that Seth Rollins was hurt, so they had to change plans on the fly and scramble to adjust everything.

“The whole last 40 minutes of that show were in disarray. I was told they had something planned for the end of the show which was not a Seth Rollins cash-in, but they had something planned for the end of the show, and because of this injury, it did not happen. So there were a lot of people that were working live on this show who, in the middle of a live event, were told, ‘Seth is hurt, we gotta change it.’ So they were scrambling and doing this.”

GUNTHER defeated Goldberg and retired the WWE Hall of Famer for good at the end of Saturday Night’s Main Event, but it’s clear the company had something special planned for the show that just didn’t happen due to Rollins’ injury.
