Seth Rollins is obviously on securing a World Title match at WrestleMania 41 by any means necessary. Interestingly enough, he has now set his sights on Cody Rhodes’ WWE Undisputed Title, believing that defeating Rhodes would be the perfect way to achieve his goal.

While speaking on the Rich Eisen Show, Seth Rollins revealed his perfect plan for facing Cody Rhodes. He aims to qualify for the Elimination Chamber in his upcoming match on Monday Night Raw on Netflix. His goal is to enter the Chamber, take down CM Punk, eliminate every competitor, which includes John Cena, and punch his ticket for WrestleMania 41.

“I personally would love to get into the Elimination Chamber. I’ve got a qualifying match coming up in a couple of weeks on Monday Night Raw on Netflix. Get into the Chamber, stomp CM Punk’s head into the mat, eliminate everybody in that Chamber—John Cena included—go to WrestleMania, and face my dream opponent, Cody Rhodes, for that title.”

Rollins sees Cody Rhodes as his dream opponent for the Undisputed WWE Championship. He recalled their past feud, where Rhodes defeated him three times in a row after returning to WWE and that’s something that still weighs on Rollins.

Last year, Rollins even helped Rhodes win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania and now, he believes it would be poetic justice if he could take the title from Rhodes at this year’s WrestleMania, making it the perfect plan.

“Cody is a guy that, when he came back to WWE, we had a series of matches—he won all of them, three in a row. I lost all of them to Cody Rhodes. I helped Cody at WrestleMania last year win the WWE Championship. I think it would be very poetic if I was able to take the WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes this year at WrestleMania. So, that’s my perfect plan.”

Cody Rhodes also previously noted that he would gladly face Seth Rollins in a 60-minute Iron Man match. With both men determined to prove themselves, this could lead to a rivalry worth remembering this year. Now it remains to be seen whether Seth Rollins will secure a title shot against Cody Rhodes at the Showcase of the Immortals this year when all is said and done.
