Seth Rollins remains one of WWE’s top Superstars, and with that level of fame comes certain drawbacks, such as dealing with fans at airports that he would sometimes rather avoid. Rollins has now explained his approach to signing autographs and taking photos when he’s out in public.

While speaking on the Jason Khalipa podcast, Seth Rollins explains his approach to signing autographs and taking photos while out in public. He says it can vary depending on the situation. At places like airports, it’s usually no big deal, and people don’t often stop to make a scene. However, in situations where stopping could lead to a mob forming, it’s important to move quickly. Rollins emphasizes that safety comes first and that he doesn’t want his family to be surrounded by people trying to grab them or take pictures with their phones.

“I mean, it’s different sometimes. Like if you’re at an airport, it’s almost never a big deal. People don’t usually stop and say, ‘Wow, I can’t believe we’re at a grocery store or something.’ It’s a quick one. But when you’re in a situation where stopping could turn into a mob, you have to be quick about it or move through. At that point, you have to make decisions for your safety. The last thing I want is for my family to be surrounded by people, with people grabbing or just doing this kind of stuff with their phones.”

The Visionary stresses the importance of recognizing when the situation becomes uncomfortable or potentially dangerous. Rollins doesn’t want to put his family in those kinds of situations. In more typical public settings, like stores or movie theaters, he’ll occasionally get a few people asking for a handshake or expressing their appreciation, especially if they see him with his child.

Rollins enjoys these interactions and appreciates the positive energy. However, he also acknowledges that if the setting feels off or things begin to escalate, it’s best to move on and avoid the situation altogether.

You have to understand when the level of danger starts to get uncomfortable. I don’t want to put my family in that situation. So, if we’re out and about, like in a store or movie theater, we’ll get a handful of people here and there, and it’s usually just a handshake. Typically, if they see us with our kid, it’s just, ‘Man, you guys are awesome,’ or something like that. And that’s great, I love that. You can do that all day long. But like I said, if the setting is wrong and there’s potential for all hell to break loose, you’ve got to cut and go.”

Seth Rollins also believes airport collectors should not ruin the reputation of all pro wrestling fans in general. Regardless, Rollins’ way of handling fans shows he values his supporters but also cares deeply about his family’s safety. While he understands being a public figure, his main focus is always keeping his loved ones comfortable and safe. By knowing when fan interactions are positive or could be risky, Rollins can enjoy his fame without it affecting his personal life.
