Seth Rollins isn’t one to stay quiet, and now he’s throwing some shade at John Cena for getting a free pass into WWE’s Elimination Chamber.
Cena made waves when he announced he’d be in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match, despite failing to win the 2025 Royal Rumble. Unlike Drew McIntyre and CM Punk, who had to fight for their spots, Cena simply declared himself in. That didn’t sit right with a lot of people—including Rollins.
During an interview with Bobby Bones Sports, Rollins didn’t hold back when talking about the situation. “That’s going to be big. I hope I can get myself in there. I still have to qualify for it. I’m not even in the chamber yet,” he said. Then, he took a shot at Cena, adding, “CM Punk’s in the chamber. John Cena’s in the chamber. Cena just said, ‘I’m in. I’m doing it. I’m not qualifying, I’m John Cena,’ and I go, ‘Okay, I guess that makes sense.'”
Rollins’ tone said it all—he’s clearly not thrilled about the double standard. Meanwhile, he still has to fight for his spot, making Cena’s shortcut even more frustrating.
With the Elimination Chamber around the corner, all eyes are on Rollins to see if he qualifies and whether this tension with Cena escalates. Could we be looking at a showdown between The Visionary and The Cenation Leader?
