Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker are doing everything they can to get back to WWE television, but their road to recovery is still very much up in the air.
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, both stars are aggressively working toward a return following their respective injuries, with Dave Meltzer noting just how hard they’re pushing behind the scenes.
“Rollins and Breakker are both said to be rehabbing their asses off to get back as soon as they can.”
Their recoveries come at a critical time for WWE, especially with WrestleMania 42 plans still being sorted out. A major showdown between Rollins and Breakker had been expected following Breakker’s shocking betrayal back in October 2025, but both injuries have thrown those plans into question.
Breakker is currently dealing with a serious hernia that required emergency surgery after a Raw segment involving an announce table spot. His recovery timeline has been estimated anywhere from 12 weeks to six months, putting his WrestleMania status in doubt.
Rollins, meanwhile, is coming back from a torn rotator cuff suffered at Crown Jewel, an injury that forced him to undergo surgery and vacate the World Heavyweight Championship. On top of that, he’s also been managing ongoing neck and back issues, adding another layer of uncertainty to his return.
The October 13, 2025 episode of Raw saw Breakker and Bronson Reed turn on Rollins, abruptly ending their alliance and setting the stage for a major feud. That storyline was originally planned to play out later in 2026, but Rollins’ injury forced WWE to speed things up — only for both men to end up sidelined.
Since then, WWE has had to adjust creatively, including introducing elements like a masked attacker storyline while two key pieces remain out of action.
With WrestleMania 42 approaching and ticket sales reportedly under pressure, getting either Rollins or Breakker back in time could be a major boost. For now, though, both are focused on recovery, pushing as hard as possible to return sooner rather than later.
