Seth Rollins began his WWE main roster career alongside Roman Reigns and Jon Moxley when The Shield debuted in 2012. Since Moxley left WWE in 2019, fans have often wondered if The Shield would reunite. That being said, Rollins has now addressed the possibility of the group getting back together.

In terms of storyline, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns’ relationship in WWE has soured over the years, with the two no longer on good terms as they have been at odds with each other for several years now, and Jon Moxley is obviously no longer in the picture.

While speaking to Brandon Tierney and Sal Licata on WFAN, Seth Rollins was asked if The Shield would reunite at WrestleMania. He pointed out that Jon Moxley is signed with AEW, making a reunion unlikely. Rollins also said that he and Roman Reigns plan to stay in WWE for life.

The Visionary then mentioned that their careers will always cross paths and that anything can happen within the next month as we slowly head towards The Showcase of the Immortals.

“I mean, look, one of our guys is over in the other company. So he ain’t coming. And Roman Reigns and I are here for life. Look, our paths are gonna be intertwined. We’re gonna crisscross here and there until both of us are done and retired. So you never know. You never know what WrestleMania is going to look like. You never know what next month is going to look like. Could be anytime.”

Seth Rollins previously admitted that he felt The Shield’s reunion was mismanaged. Nonetheless, fans shouldn’t expect to see The Shield reunite anytime soon, but anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling. In the meantime, Rollins will continue to feud with Roman Reigns, who returned on the March 10th edition of Raw, so we’ll have to see how WWE books their feud in the coming weeks.

Do you think The Shield will ever reunite, even if it’s just Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns? Or is the faction’s legacy better left in the past? Share your thoughts in the comments!
