When WWE’s power couple Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins first started dating, they tried to keep things quiet… but according to them, it didn’t take long for everyone in the locker room to figure it out.

In their recent appearance on My Mom’s Basement, the couple opened up about how their relationship went public — and it turns out, it wasn’t some dramatic reveal. It was Seth just casually dropping a bomb in a CrossFit group chat.

“We were very unsubtle. We were trying to keep it secret for a second, but yeah, It was really bad.”

Seth admitted he couldn’t resist letting a few people in on it — and one of the first was Renee Young (now Renee Paquette), who reacted exactly how you’d expect.

“I think one of the first people I remember telling about it—she doesn’t work with us anymore—Renee Young. She was like, ‘Of course, of course! Yes, of course. Absolutely!’ She was one of the most excited ones. I remember giving her the hint, like the old wink and the nod, and she was like, ‘Oh my god, yes!’”

Lita was another person who wasn’t surprised at all when she found out:

“Lita was the same as well, actually. She was like, ‘Yeah, we all knew it was going to happen.’”

But the real moment the cat got out of the bag? Seth casually exposed their relationship without even realizing it.

“We were in a group chat for CrossFit and I said something maybe slightly controversial, and then Coby texted into the group chat, ‘Apologies for my girlfriend.’”

So much for subtle. From the sounds of it, their friends saw it coming before they did — and even if they tried to keep it private, one group chat slip-up sealed the deal. Becky and Seth may not have had a dramatic reveal, but their chemistry clearly spoke louder than any official announcement.
