The TNA Rebellion 2025 pay-per-view featured an appearance from Sean Waltman, who accompanied the Rascalz and Ace Austin. His appearance was well received by fans and now Waltman has revealed how it all came together.
While speaking on the Ariel Helwani Show, Sean Waltman explained how his appearance at TNA Rebellion came together. He said the Rascalz looked up to him and even wore gear inspired by his.
Since TNA Wrestling was holding the pay-per-view, he reached out to Tommy Dreamer and offered to do something with them. He enjoyed the experience and said it felt good to be part of it.
“Those kids I did that segment with, the Rascalz, Trey and Zack and Wes Lee, they idolized me, they had gear inspired by mine and just really good kids. I knew that TNA was gonna be here on a pay-per-view, so I hit Tommy Dreamer up and was like, ‘Hey, if you guys want me to do something with the Rascalz, I’d be happy to do it.’ I loved it, it felt good.”
When asked if he would appear on TNA television again, Waltman said that was a one-time thing. He just wanted to give the Rascalz the rub and show fans he could still move well in the ring, saying, “Nah, that was it, I just wanted to give a little rub to the Rascalz and get in there and let people see I could still move around pretty good.”
Sean Waltman dropped Alisha Edwards with the X-Factor at the Rebellion pay-per-view and fans couldn’t be happier to see him still move around so well. Regardless, Waltman won’t be appearing on TNA television again, and fans will have to accept that fact now.
