As TNA Wrestling’s landmark TV deal with AMC prepares to go into effect this January, one of the company’s most pivotal former leaders has officially weighed in—and he’s fired up.

Scott D’Amore, the longtime former President of TNA Wrestling, responded to the AMC news with a passionate message in his latest D’Amore Drop column for Uncrowned. While D’Amore hasn’t been with the company since his firing in early 2024, the veteran executive still made it clear that his connection to the brand runs deep.

“TNA Wrestling announced its new TV deal with AMC this week,” D’Amore wrote, before addressing the many fans who continue to ask him about the promotion’s direction. “I get asked about TNA a lot, privately and online, and my answer will always be a variation of this: It does not feel right for me to weigh in on the day-to-day running of the company.”

Though he remained respectful of current leadership, D’Amore didn’t hold back when it came to expressing his pride for the company’s next chapter. Then came the closing line that instantly resonated with longtime fans of the brand:

“But I also want to be clear: I will always have a lot of love in my heart for those three initials, and I am happy for the people there. To everyone at TNA today (people I know and people who are new) and to all the people who contributed to the rebirth of TNA over the years: TNA Wrestling — we are f**ing back!”*

The outpouring of support from D’Amore comes just days after AMC and TNA Wrestling finalized a multi-year rights deal to bring Thursday Night iMPACT to both AMC and AMC+, beginning January 15, 2026. The debut episode will air live from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, with additional tapings and a Genesis pay-per-view scheduled the same week.

TNA is now led by Carlos Silva, who has described 2025 as a record-setting year and believes 2026 will be even bigger with AMC behind them. With D’Amore’s public message of support now out, the sense of renewed energy around TNA feels even stronger.

Does Scott D’Amore’s reaction add more weight to TNA’s new chapter? Do you think the AMC deal will finally elevate the promotion to a new level? Drop your reactions in the comments—we want to hear what this moment means to you.
