Saraya isn’t pretending her Total Divas days were all glitz and glam—because they weren’t.

During an interview with the Toronto Sun, the former WWE and AEW star got brutally honest about what it was really like living under the reality TV microscope. From booze-filled nights to 24/7 camera crews, Saraya says she was young, wild, and fully immersed in the chaos—and now she’s ready to set the record straight.

She admitted that while Total Divas opened a lot of doors for women in the industry, it also captured a version of herself that she’s long outgrown:

“I loved the experience. I loved being a part of it. I felt like it did such an incredible thing for women’s wrestling. I mean, it opened eyes. It’s mainstream, you know, and it opened a lot of eyes to non-wrestling fans to come and watch the product.”

But behind the scenes, Saraya said she was dealing with her own personal struggles—and Total Divas caught all of it. She owned up to how her drinking shaped a lot of what fans saw on-screen:

“I was so young, and obviously everyone knows my history with drinking and all that kind of stuff. And I just feel like I was partying a lot on there.”

That version of Saraya may be long gone, but she’s not running from it. In fact, if Total Divas were ever to make a comeback, she’s already got her bags packed:

“If I was to do it again — which I would love a Total Divas reunion, obviously — like, I would want to showcase myself as the person I am now. And I don’t think I looked bad on Total Divas. I just think I was very young and I was just enjoying life as much as I possibly could on the schedule that we had because it was nonstop.”

She also gave fans a glimpse into the grind behind the glammed-up scenes:

“We would be doing TV shows and then the live events and then media, and then the whole time we have a camera in our face, you know, like, from when we wake up to when we go to sleep for months at a time.”

Even with all the chaos, Saraya says the show was a massive opportunity—and one she’s proud of:

“I enjoyed my time, and I wish for a Total Divas reunion. I think it would be really cool. One last hurrah.”

Total Divas debuted in July 2013 on E! and ran for nine seasons, ending in December 2019. It gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of WWE’s female talent, blending real-life drama with career ambitions. The cast over the years included Nikki and Brie Bella, Natalya, Naomi, Eva Marie, Cameron, Summer Rae, Rosa Mendes, Mandy Rose, Lana, Nia Jax, Carmella, Ronda Rousey, and Saraya (then known as Paige). The series brought women’s wrestling into pop culture and helped create mainstream stars out of its cast

Saraya’s honest look back at her Total Divas run shows how much she’s grown—and how ready she is to take on that world again with a whole new mindset. If a reunion ever goes down, fans could be getting the realest version of her yet.
