Saraya has been leading the single life since her breakup with Ronnie Radke of Falling in Reverse earlier this year. However, things haven’t been easy for her when it comes to dating again as she has now revealed some awkward flirting encounters following her breakup.
While speaking on her Rulebreakers podcast, Saraya told a funny story about trying to get back into the dating scene again following her breakup. She was at dinner with a friend when the waiter seemed to be flirting with her.
The former AEW star revealed that since she was new to flirting again, she really was not sure what to do and joked that she and her friend were on a date.
“I was at this dinner with a friend… and the waiter was kind of flirting with me. But this was like fresh out the relationship, right? So I’m just like, how do I do this? And uh, the waitress was being flirty, which she was probably just doing to get a good tip or whatever. You know, I’ll take what I can get at that point, right?”
After the waiter walked away, she got worried that he might think she was a lesbian. When he came back, Saraya quickly said she wasn’t, which made things really awkward. The rest of the dinner was uncomfortable because of the mix-up.
“He was like, ‘What are you guys up to?’ I’m just like, ‘Oh, just having dinner, having a little date night with her. He walks away and I was like, ‘Oh f***, he probably thinks I’m a lesbian now.’ So he comes back and I’m like, ‘I’m not a lesbian.’ He was like, ‘Oh, I… I didn’t think you were. And I just kind of continued with the meal. It was very awkward.“
For the time being, Saraya is fully embracing her single life and even if it’s awkward at times, she wouldn’t change it for the world since she is truly free for the first time in many years. Regardless, we’ll have to see if she will end up in a relationship again somewhere down the line.
