Saraya’s time in AEW may be running out, and she’s making it clear that she’s not planning on sticking around much longer.

The former AEW Women’s World Champion has been off TV since October 2024, and with her contract set to expire in September, she’s already talking about winding down her in-ring career.

Speaking with Sports Illustrated’s Rick Ucchino, Saraya opened up about her absence and what the future holds. “I’m letting people beat me, left, right and center. I was on a losing streak, but I just wanted people to get their rub,” she said.

She then dropped the biggest revelation yet, admitting that her career is nearing its final stretch. “I want to uplift everybody. I’m not gonna be in wrestling forever. I’m coming to the end of it and it’s very soon. And I don’t wanna go out being like, I need to be on top,” she added.

Saraya hasn’t won a match since her victory over Nyla Rose on AEW Rampage in August 2024, and with no return date in sight, it’s unclear if she’ll get a final run before her contract is up.

While her wrestling future is uncertain, her book is set to release on March 25, ensuring that fans will still get a chance to hear her story, whether she steps back in the ring or not.
