Saraya is finally saying goodbye to the infamous hand tattoos that caused more headaches than hype during her WWE run.
On Talk Is Jericho, the former AEW star shared the full backstory behind the “Talk sh*t” and “Get bit” ink she once wore proudly—but now regrets enough to begin laser removal.
It started with a few drinks and a spontaneous idea that felt smart at the time. Saraya had just launched her clothing brand, the Saraya Store, and her friend Joey suggested they mark the occasion in ink.
“That was also a time when like I had a few drinks and uh I just like—my one of my best friends Joey was like, ‘We should go get tattoos.’ I was like, ‘Okay.’ And I just opened my brand, the Saraya Store, and he was like, ‘We should get like tattoos that represent the brand.’ I was like, ‘Okay.’”
She got the phrase from a small pin and figured it would tie into her new brand perfectly. But once the artist shared the photo online, it exploded in visibility—and not the way WWE wanted.
“And then I had like this little pin that said, ‘Talk sht,’ and I decided this was a great idea. And I covered it with makeup because it went viral. It went mega viral because the tattooist posted it. I’m getting them removed, by the way. I cannot have this on my hand at 33 years old.”

In WWE’s PG world, the tattoos were a clear problem. Saraya started wearing fingerless gloves and using makeup to keep them hidden on TV. But once, she slipped up—and WWE executive Mark Carrano called her out on it.
“And then I started wearing the fingerless gloves that kind of covered it up… and then I just pulled a rookie move and I forgot to put the makeup on, and [Mark Carrano] was just like, ‘Saraya.’ I was like, ‘I know. I’m so sorry.’”
She doesn’t just regret the message—she cringes at how it looks too.
“It’s not even good font. It’s like scratched jailhouse sht.”*
Now, with her career on a new path in AEW, Saraya is taking the final step to erase that chapter from her hands and her life. She’s getting the tattoos removed for good.
