Saraya isn’t letting fans put all the heat on Triple H when it comes to WWE’s creative direction.

In a new interview with PokerScout, the former Paige made it clear she still has nothing but love for The Game—even as fans continue to clown him online for everything from John Cena’s retirement build to questionable booking calls.

Saraya pointed out that while fans are quick to judge, very few understand just how complex the creative process really is. She said criticism often unfairly lands on Triple H just because he’s the public face.

“So if something’s not great, a lot of people go on the attack with Hunter and people don’t realise it’s not just him,” Saraya said, making it clear the blame is misplaced. “He’s just trying to put on the best show that he possibly can. He’s the face and the lightning conductor.”

She added that people online act like Triple H is the only one pulling the strings—when in reality, it’s a room full of writers trying to piece things together both on the road and remotely.

“I’m sure everyone has an opinion on the way he runs it,” she said. “No one’s ever gonna be fully happy and there’s gonna be people that are really happy with the way it’s going. I think he’s doing a great job.”

Saraya also made it clear she has a personal loyalty to Triple H, crediting him with helping shape her wrestling career during her time in NXT.

“I’ll always have a soft spot for him,” she said, reflecting on her early days in WWE.
“He really helped the women in NXT. He let us go out there and have long matches and do stuff we weren’t allowed to do before.”

Even though Triple H has taken flak for booking missteps lately, Saraya believes it’s unfair to point the finger at one man. She’s not saying everything is perfect—but she’s saying fans don’t see the full picture.

Saraya is currently a free agent and hasn’t competed since October 2024, though she recently announced she plans to resume in-ring training in 2026. And clearly, no matter where she lands next, she’s riding with Triple H.

What do you think? Is Saraya right to defend Triple H? Or is the criticism from fans totally fair? Let us know in the comments.
