Saraya’s dating checklist might’ve gone viral—but she’s not impressed by the DMs that followed.

On the January 22, 2026 episode of her Rulebreakers podcast, the former AEW star revealed that she’s had no shortage of people sliding into her inbox after she opened up about her relationship standards earlier this month. While the messages poured in, Saraya made it clear that most of them don’t come close to meeting the bar.

“You know, we were talking about that. People were very interested in my checklist when we did that on here. I’m glad we did that. I really am. I’ve had a lot of suitors in my DMs trying to take me out on a date. I’ve had a lot of people being like, ‘Hey, I can do all those things.’

And I’m like, ‘Yeah, it’s called the bare minimum.’ But it is the bare minimum. It really is. So I get a lot of people in my DMs saying, ‘I can do that. I can treat you with respect and be kind to you..”

Saraya’s co-host joked that her checklist had now been “publicized”—which led to the flood of messages from potential love interests. But Saraya wasn’t exactly thrilled by the approach, noting how modern dating seems to be missing the point: “I just think this new generation of people is very different with the way they date and stuff.”

Saraya previously laid out her non-negotiables for a future relationship during the January 8 episode of the show. Among other things, she said she wants to date someone outside of her field, keep things extremely private, and be with someone who encourages her growth—not someone who’s controlling or insecure.

Now, she’s looking toward the future—but still keeping it real. At one point during the new episode, Saraya said: “I feel like I should potentially have a kid by the time I’m, like, 35 or 36.”

But for now, she’s not settling. Despite all the DMs, Saraya is holding strong on her boundaries and expecting more than just words. Think you can meet Saraya’s checklist? She’s already seen what “bare minimum” looks like—and she’s not going backwards.

What do you think of Saraya’s take on modern dating? Are her standards too high—or just right? Drop your thoughts below!
