The life of a professional wrestler is always a double-edged sword, especially because fans do not respect personal boundaries. Saraya knows this all too well, and unfortunately, it appears she was recently involved in an incident where a fan tried to kiss her on the mouth at a signing event.
The former AEW Women’s Champion took to Twitter and talked about a scary moment with a fan at a signing event. She said that one fan tried to kiss her on the mouth without her permission.
Thankfully, Saraya moved away just in time, so the man failed to kiss her. Saraya revealed just how upset and shocked she was, and made it clear that fans should never do something like that.
“Crazy I have to say this but. If you come to my signings.. please don’t try to kiss me anywhere. Especially ON MY MOUTH. He wasn’t able to because I moved. But Jesus f***** Christ.”
This isn’t the first time Saraya had to deal with fans who crossed personal boundaries, and she previously called out creepy fans for treating female professional wrestlers like meat.
Regardless, Saraya’s experience is a major reminder that being a fan doesn’t give anyone the right to cross personal boundaries. Wrestlers are real people who deserve respect, especially during meet-and-greet events and we hope Saraya doesn’t have to deal with such incidents in the future.
