Santana’s Return & #1 Contender Matches Booked For March 31 NXT In NYC

WWE’s NXT brand is always bringing attention because of the unique matches that Shawn Michaels can book in WWE’s developmental roster. Next week’s show will be no different as they tie up some Stand & Deliver loose ends.

This week’s NXT continued the build toward Stand & Deliver. Next week’s episode will go down in New York City, and they have a stellar episode in store as the go-home episode before the brand’s biggest premium live event of the year.

Kendal Grey will also take on Lola Vice. The winner of that match will go on to face Jacy Jayne at Stand & Deliver. That will be a big fight in the Big Apple. Kelani Jordan and Jaida Parker will also throw down at MSG.

Birth Rite will also take on Los Americanos in a #1 contender match. The winners will take on The Vanity Project for the NXT Tag Team Titles at Stand & Deliver.

Keanu Carver and Jasper Troy will also throw down in New York City. This is Troy’s attempt at getting revenge after Carvery ruined Booker T appreciation night. Josh Briggs will be the special referee for that match, because nobody else wanted to officiate it.

Santana will also be on NXT next week to team with OTM in a six-man tag team match against DarkState. He made that announcement in a surprise appearance during a backstage segment this week.

Tatum Paxley and Blake Monroe will also have a face-to-face next week. This comes after Blake stole Paxley’s NXT Women’s North American Title. She didn’t win it, but odds are this will result in a match in some form.
