There is a fine line between going with the script and going into business for yourself. Although the idea of blurring a worked moment with something real is getting even harder to define in 2025, we have another case of someone who may have gone into business for themselves.

Tension spilled into public view following The Revolver Holiday event on December 18, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. This was kicked into high gear after a social media exchange between Sami Callihan and Joe Alonzo drew attention.

Joe Alonzo posted a video from the event, while he was quoting Eminem. The clip showed him jumping the barricade and taking someone out in the ring. He was obviously very proud of this clip.

Sami Callihan saw this and he had to respond. Instead of giving credit for the clip, he launched into a tirade, as this stunt from Joe Alonzo was apparently not part of the script.

“Once again, You almost lost us another venue last night because of this stunt.

You’re not tough, or cool, or edgy… you’re an immature child.

And you wonder why you haven’t gotten signed anywhere yet?

Keep burning bridges for internet views. It’s working out so well for you.”

This interaction between Sami Callihan and Joe Alonzo was not the type of thing that leaves a good taste in anyone’s mouth. It will be interesting to see if Alonzo gets more bookings at this point, because he seems like more of a menace at this point.
