It looks like Samantha Irvin’s comeback to the wrestling world isn’t an “if” anymore—it’s a “when.” And AEW might just be the destination.

During a recent Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp gave fans an inside look at Irvin’s status after her WWE exit—and let’s just say the door to AEW is wide open.

“I find it hard to believe she wouldn’t. She is well liked in the industry, and I’ve always been told that she’s a welcome presence at AEW. Originally, AEW was anticipating doing more work with JoJo Offerman, but that didn’t happen for some reason.”

While Irvin has been keeping busy and recently confirmed her appearance at WaleMania X this past April in Las Vegas, the buzz around a bigger wrestling return hasn’t died down. With AEW originally eyeing JoJo Offerman for more involvement and that falling through, the timing couldn’t be better for Irvin to step in.

Irvin hasn’t been shy about her future plans either. Since parting ways with WWE, she’s clapped back at critics online and made it known she has ambitions beyond just being a ring announcer—including possibly stepping into the roles of manager or booker

With AEW keeping the door open and Irvin back in the spotlight, it feels like it’s only a matter of time before she makes her move.
