Samantha Irvin just made it crystal clear — she’s not going back to WWE, no matter how many fans think she should.

The former WWE ring announcer clapped back hard on social media after fans dismissed her AEW future as “second rate” and suggested she would’ve been a bigger star if she stayed with WWE. It started when a fan took a jab at Irvin’s next chapter, writing, “Agree. Now she’ll be the manager for a mid carder in the number two promotion.”

Irvin didn’t hesitate, replying, “I’m not going back to WWE 🙏🏽” The same fan kept pushing, implying she was playing backup to Ricochet, “More power to you if you’re happier playing number two to your husband as a mid card act in the number two promotion. But you could have been a huge star on the big stage.”

That’s when Irvin set the record straight once and for all, “Why do you keep saying that when I’m telling you we’re not coming back lol”

Earlier in the day, Irvin had already confirmed she’s not finished with wrestling — just finished with announcing. She plans to return as a manager, and when a fan said they’d love to see her paired with Ricochet, she responded, “I would be a bad manager if I advised him to return. But us together will be historic, I do believe that 🙏🏽”

Despite fan speculation, Irvin’s departure from WWE wasn’t a sudden move. As reported previously. she re-signed with the company in early 2024 with a major pay bump — but also a strict two-year non-compete clause that runs through October 2026. She had made it clear internally that she didn’t want to be a ring announcer anymore, but WWE pushed her front and center to cash in on their investment, leading to constant camera time — and eventually, online backlash.

Now focused on her family, her freedom, and her next chapter, Samantha Irvin is tired of fans minimizing her decision — and she’s not sugarcoating it anymore.

Should fans stop trying to tie Samantha Irvin to WWE, or are they right that she had unfinished business there? Sound off in the comments and tell us what you think.
