Ricochet’s controversy just took a disturbing turn — because now Samantha Irvin is showing exactly what’s been happening behind the scenes as she’s now receiving death threats.
Irvin took to her Instagram stories and revealed a series of graphic death threats and abusive messages she says she received following the backlash over Ricochet’s comment about a fan with multiple sclerosis. The messages she shared paint a brutal picture of how far things have escalated.
“I will cut your damned body into pieces and throw it in the river because your husband is a vile racist. See you soon, you ****. I will cut off your damned head.”
Another message was just as direct and violent: “F**** whore. I will kill you and kill your stupid husband.” And the third message showed the same tone, suggesting harm was justified: “Good deserved. Don’t stand when your man when he is being evil. Deserved. Blood is expected.”
What started as backlash over Ricochet telling a fan he was “glad” they had multiple sclerosis has now spiraled into something far more serious — with Irvin herself becoming a direct target. She had already deactivated her Twitter account amid the controversy, but these messages reveal the level of harassment that pushed things in that direction.
Ricochet had previously issued an apology, admitting he crossed a line and stating he would do better — but it’s clear the situation didn’t end there. Now, the fallout has gone beyond criticism and into dangerous territory, with threats being directed at his family.
