John Cena is offering fans a chance to dine with him during WrestleMania 41 weekend in Las Vegas, but don’t expect him to be handed a Lifetime Achievement Award—because, apparently, that was never part of the deal.
Reports earlier in the day claimed Cena would be receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award at an exclusive On Location luncheon on April 19, just hours before Night One of WrestleMania 41. However, according to Fightful Select, while the $25,000-per-person event is very real, the award? Not happening.
“We’re told that while the ability to purchase a lunch with John Cena as a part of On Location is accurate, there is no lifetime achievement award.”
So, for those dropping a small fortune to break bread with Cena, they’ll still get an intimate meal at a luxury restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip, plus some speeches and special moments—but no grand trophy presentation.
With Cena gearing up for what could be his final WrestleMania, this event is still a once-in-a-lifetime experience. But would you spend $25K just to share a meal with Cena? Or would you rather spend it elsewhere? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
