Royce Keys isn’t just thinking about his next match — he’s thinking about how his entire career ends. And in his mind, that ending happens in WWE.

While appearing on “What’s Your Story?” with Stephanie McMahon on February 19, 2026, Royce Keys made it clear that WWE isn’t a stop along the way for him. It’s the destination. Keys explained that although his Royal Rumble debut was a dream come true, he has no intention of settling for just a strong introduction; he wants to end his career in WWE.

“To think that I’m making my dreams come true. I tell people I’m not satisfied with this. I love it — it’s a great introduction. But I plan on rewriting things, being here until I say, ‘You know what, I think I want to step away. I want to help this company in a different way,’ whether that’s backstage or whatever. I have goals and plans that I’ve written out.”

That mindset shows he’s thinking long-term about building a legacy and possibly contributing behind the scenes when his in-ring days are done. Keys also admitted that his debut moment exceeded his own expectations, but he sees it as only the beginning.

“This is a hell of an introduction — better than what I imagined it was going to be. I knew it was going to be big, but it was even better than I thought. But this isn’t it. I’ve got so much more to give — so much more. I want to entertain even more.”

For Keys, WWE isn’t just about making it — it’s about staying, evolving, and eventually giving back to the company in a new role when the time comes.
