WWE’s Royal Rumble 2025 just rewrote the record books, becoming the biggest single-night event in company history. With 70,342 fans packing Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, this year’s event generated the largest gate for any non-WrestleMania show ever, surpassing every other WWE PLE in history.
That wasn’t the only milestone WWE shattered. Royal Rumble 2025 dominated across the board, setting new highs in viewership, merchandise sales, sponsorships, and social media engagement.
This event also marked the first time WWE brought the Royal Rumble to Indianapolis under its new deal with Indiana Sports Corp, which will see WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble all come through the city in the future.
Of course, the night was headlined by Jey Uso and Charlotte Flair winning their respective Royal Rumble matches, locking in their WrestleMania 41 world title shots.
With WWE setting the bar higher than ever, the big question is—how do they top this at WrestleMania 41? Do you think WWE can break even more records, or was this their peak? Let us know your thoughts!
