Roxanne Perez isn’t just thinking about dream opponents—she’s booking her own fantasy celebrity WarGames team, and the names she dropped are enough to shake up the entire wrestling world.
During her interview on The Wrestling Classic, Perez was asked who she’d choose as a celebrity tag team partner. Instead of picking just one name, she went full creative mode and drafted a full intergender squad featuring three massive music stars.
“Okay, I would either choose—I have three. So let’s make it a little WarGames team for your celebrity partner. But it’s intergender though.”
When pressed for names, Perez didn’t hesitate to rattle off some bold picks.
“So probably Olivia Rodrigo or Taylor Swift because I think that would be groundbreaking—like having Taylor Swift in the WWE. No one would expect that. Or Post Malone. I feel like I want to see Post Malone in the WWE because, you know, he’s made songs about WWE wrestlers. So why not? Come on. Hop on.”
She even considered how their personalities and styles might translate inside the squared circle—especially when imagining Taylor Swift’s entrance.
“I feel like Taylor Swift would be interesting… I just—like as a fan—I’m like, what would her wrestling style be? I don’t know if I can picture her in a wrestling ring, but I think it would just be really freaking cool. And with Olivia, like take away the lyrics and just put the instrumental for ‘Brutal’ as her entrance theme and that would slap. The beat for that song is great.”
Whether or not this fantasy becomes reality, Roxanne’s comments show she’s got a clear vision for how celebrity crossovers could level up the entertainment factor in WWE.
