Ross welcomes Tony Schiavone to the show.
Schiavone informs that he recently started a podcast which drops each week on Monday morning. He jokes that one of his daughters is getting married, so this podcast came along at a perfect time and is helping pay for the wedding.
Schiavone often looks back on the work he and Ross did together early on in both of their careers, especially now while he prepares for his podcasts. He says that they both worked very well together and Ross agrees saying they had a lot of good talent to work with back in those days.
Ross points out that during that time, the things that viewers heard on their television were coming straight from the minds of him and Schiavone. There was never anyone in their ear producing them at that time because Dusty Rhodes was the booker, and he never bothered with that type of production.
Ross asks Schiavone if he would have accepted a contract offer from WWE after they purchased WCW in 2001. Schiavone says he probably would have accepted an offer from WWE had they provided him with one because at that point in his life he only knew professional wrestling, so he wanted to stay in the business.
