Ronda Rousey is stepping back into her power—literally. The former UFC and WWE megastar gave fans a no-filter look at her post-baby body in a July 24, 2025 Instagram video, just after welcoming her second daughter.

In the clip, Rousey confidently posed in her mirror, showing off the results of her intense recovery journey. But the real story came in the caption, where she credited MMA training—not traditional gym workouts—for helping her bounce back better than ever.

“Being able to train MMA again made such a huge difference this time—like my joints feel tighter and I just feel healthier and more sturdy compared to just doing regular gym lifting/cardio workouts like I did to recover from my first pregnancy,” she wrote. “It’s been a blast finding joy in training again, I missed it, my body missed it.”

Rousey also gave a shoutout to her team, thanking nutritionist Dan Garner and coaches Ricky Lundell, Babyface Benoit, and AJ MMA for getting her “back in a cage again.” Still, she kept it real about the chaos of postpartum life.

“Please reserve your judgement for my messy room and smeared mirror, I just had a baby and am too tired to clean that shit up.”

This update follows her no-nonsense appearance on the Untapped podcast earlier this year, where she shut down speculation about a WWE or UFC return.

“I’m just trying to reclaim my body from motherhood,” she said at the time. “You literally—like—a baby is like a parasite. It is like sucking the life out of you and just taking over everything.”

With her daughter being born on January 6 during a windstorm and fire emergency in the Pacific Palisades, Rousey’s postpartum journey has been anything but ordinary. Yet, she’s focused on healing and rediscovery—not headline comebacks.

Ronda Rousey might not be gearing up for a return to WWE or UFC anytime soon, but she’s clearly winning a different kind of fight—one for strength, health, and self-identity.
