Ron Killings came back at the end of the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event and he proclaimed himself as Ron Killings on the June 9th episode of WWE Raw. Following the conclusion of Raw, Killings has now addressed getting new entrance music.
After RAW ended, Metro Boomin took to Twitter and begged WWE and Triple H to let him create a new entrance theme for Ron Killings, saying, “Please let’s do the new @RonKillings theme @WWE @TripleH I beg.”
In response, Ron Killings showed love and thanked Metro Boomin, calling himself a big fan of his work. However, R-Truth made it clear he’s not ready to change his theme. He believes his current entrance music is iconic and instantly recognizable to fans the moment it plays. He added that it’s not R-Truth in the driver’s seat anymore, it’s him as Ron Killings.
“🙌🏾🙏🏾 I appreciate you my dawg!! Huge fan! What’s up ain’t broken, I wanna keep it, Fans and people know it soon as it hits!! Check out my music with @JTRX44 Under Ron Killings… R-Truth ain’t drivin now… I am.”
This happened after Ron Killings made it clear he wasn’t joking or playing a character during Monday Night Raw. Afterwards, Killings pulled out scissors and cut off his braids right in front of everyone. The crowd in Phoenix started chanting “holy sh*t” as he looked into the camera and said, “The truth has set me free—I am Ron Killings.”
Ron Killings has changed from the funny R-Truth character to a more serious and real version of himself, and fans and other artists are already invested in him. He doesn’t want to change his entrance music right now, and most fans think that’s a good choice. Therefore, we’ll have to see what WWE have planned for him in the coming weeks.
