Roman Reigns may have outlasted 29 other superstars to win the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble—but if YouTube is any indication, the WWE Universe isn’t exactly thrilled.
Following the event, WWE took to their YouTube channel and uploaded a video of Reigns celebrating his big win at Riyadh Season Stadium. But fan feedback has been noticeably mixed. As of this writing, the video sits at 234,000 views with just 10.8K likes—and a striking 9.1K dislikes. That gives the clip a low 54.5% like-to-dislike ratio, a clear sign that many viewers weren’t happy to see The Tribal Chief standing tall.
This kind of reaction is rare for a marquee Royal Rumble victory, especially when the winner secures a guaranteed world title match at WrestleMania 42. Reigns now has the opportunity to challenge either CM Punk or Drew McIntyre for their respective titles, but judging by the online sentiment, it may be an uphill battle to get the audience behind him.
The win capped off a chaotic and star-studded Rumble that saw Cody Rhodes eliminated by Drew McIntyre, Jey Uso spearing Reigns before being tossed himself, and a brutal final stretch between Reigns and GUNTHER. Despite The Ring General applying a sleeper hold and nearly eliminating him, Reigns powered out with a spear and sealed the win—becoming the last man standing.
But the crowd online isn’t sold. Will Roman Reigns be embraced on the road to WrestleMania—or is WWE headed for another conflict between crowd rejection and corporate plans? Only time will tell.
